Return to the top: Michael Schöning becomes Chief Sales Officer at The ADEX

 

Berlin, January 02, 2018. The ADEX is starting the new year with more staff. Since the beginning of the year, Michael Schöning (46) has held the newly created position of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at the leading European technology specialist for data management and adverification. In this position, Schöning is responsible for all of the company’s national and international sales activities and, with a view to the full-tech stack strategy of the parent company virtual minds, works closely with its Chief Sales Officer Hendrik Kempfert on the strategic marketing orientation and the further expansion of sales structures.

The new management team member is no stranger to The ADEX: Prior to sales management positions at attribution specialist Exactag (Director Sales DACH) and most recently at Swiss DMP provider 1plusX (Vice President Sales DACH), Schöning had already worked as Country Manager for the Berlin data hub of the virtual minds Group for two years from 2014 to 2015. The media and technology marketing professional also worked for the online marketer AdLINK Internet Media (now HiMedia), where he was Sales Director until 2009, ClickDistrict Germany (161Media/Platform161 Germany since 2013), for which he set up the German site and oversaw the company’s transformation from a performance marketing specialist to a DSP provider, and the marketing joint venture AdAudience.
