The Adex expands management team with Manuel Meiborg

Berlin, 29 January 2019: The ADEX has expanded its top management team. Since 1 January, founder and CEO Dino Bongartz has been joined by Manuel Meiborg on the management board of the European technology specialist for data management, marketplaces and verification.

Meiborg, who has moved from the Freiburg-based sister company Active Agent to the Spree, will be responsible for the areas of product, development, infrastructure, data science and technology in his new position as CTO and second managing director. His activities will focus on the real-time capability of all products, the further integration of buyside and sellside market requirements into the ADEX data solutions and the realisation of platform synergies with the other companies in the Virtual Minds Group.

Manuel Meiborg (36), a proven adtech all-rounder, is joining the top management team at The ADEX. The long-standing board member and CTO of omnichannel DSP provider Active Agent has extensive insights and technology expertise in programmatic marketing from both the buyside and sellside as well as from the data business. The graduate computer scientist and historian began his professional career in 2009 at mediatainment AG in Freiburg. From 2013, he played a key role in the successful development and expansion of Active Agent into the market-leading programmatic technology platform in the buyside sector. The demand-side platform (DSP) enables value-oriented media buying (display, video, audio, mobile) for all channels and end devices, in particular digital out-of-home (DOoH), digital audio and addressable TV.
