This year’s IAB Forum d’Alliance Digitale took place in Paris on 30 November 2023 under the patronage of the Minister for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications, Jean-Noël Barrot, and we were there for the first time. Under the overarching motto ‘Convergence – a new definition of digital marketing?’, the event in the heart of the French capital discussed numerous trend topics that are moving the industry: These included sustainability, diversity, artificial intelligence and the post-cookie era, among others. In numerous exciting discussions with industry representatives, it also became clear once again that CTV in particular is one of the hot topics for the coming year.
In various workshops, lectures, talks and masterclasses, a total of 50 speakers provided insights into these essential topics. Not only the challenges facing the industry were discussed, but also the opportunities arising from the use of new technologies.
Michel Juvillier took to the stage on behalf of Virtual Minds. In his presentation entitled ‘For holistic TV advertising: linear television as a starting point for change’, he addressed the transformation of the business model within TV advertising and discussed the potential offered by the programmatic ecosystem for linear television to retain and regain market share from video and social platforms. He also presented examples of how agencies and advertisers can find the same performance KPIs in linear TV as in digital.
We would like to thank everyone for the stimulating exchange and the exciting insights and have a few more impressions for you in our picture gallery:
